...Rosie Nolan, a London zoo keeper, mysteriously manifested power which caused a geological rift spliting Scotland from [Great Britain]. A CIA spy satellite detected this paranormal activity. Strung-out agent Henry Hooks was dispatched to capture whoever generated it. As Hooks closed in the unsuspecting Rosie was occupied with Jeff, narrator of our story and infatuated with this girl who saved him after a botched suicide attempt. Meanwhile Rosie's old friend Mudhawk, an overly zealous--some might say violently lunatic--animal rights activist, was on the run and headed her way aided by his reesourceful acquaintance, [Samantha Flynt]. Of these converging parties, Hooks and his CIA team arrived first, triggering yet another uncontrolled manifestation of Rosie's Power...
...To cover up his botched adbuction of emerging paranormal Rosie Nolan, CIA Agent Hooks blew away all witnesses. One, a London policeman, is a cohort of the corrupt and sadistic Constable Dixon. Aided by twin sociopaths, the Butcher Bruvvers, the vengeful Dixon set out after Rosie, knowing where she went Hooks would follow. And, with three friends in tow, the fleeing Rosie was Rio bound, her mysterious powers turning a stalled tramp steamer into a tidal wave-powered esacpe craft...
...Constable Dixon and the Butcher Bruvvers, trailing Rosie and her pals, highjack an airliner. In Rio, Mudhawk went on a quest for weed but found the CIA, while Jeff declared his love for Rosie. Like a wanker, regrettable. Luckily, the object of his passion was distracted by a floating vision named Jenny, who pointed Rosie in the right direction to attain enlightenment about her awesome but erratic paranormal powers. That direction was North. Before it could be taken, the CIA's Harry Hooks pounced...
...In Rio, Constable Dixon and the Butcher Bruvvers made further advances on their bloody path toward Rosie and her captor, CIA Agent Harry Hooks. In New York, Hooks had less luck unlocking the secret of Rosie's ever-expanding paranormal powers. As he threatened to have her brain dissected, Rosie's captive pals employed the old escape-by-vomit trick. This escalated to a full-scale firefight until Rosie, in the first controlled use of her powers, moved the entire CIA skyscraper where she wanted to go. North. Not with great precision, unfortunately. It landed in the Arctic Sea. And promptly sank...
...Rosie and company took a break in their perilous journey north at Jackson's Reach, Alaska. Alone at last Rosie and Jeff discovered that doing the nasty brought out the lioness in her. Literally. Because of her powers. Meanwhile, Sam and Mudhawk wintessed the arrival of Constable Dixon and the Butcher Burvvers and learned they were tracking Rosie. Unfortunately, they leared it at the same moment that the CIA's Harry Hooks, also zeroing in on Rosie, ordered the U.S. Marines to utterly obliterate Jackson' Reach...
...Through Rosie's paranormal defense of Jackson's Reach, Alaska, Samatha and Mudhawk inherited a marine jet fighter. In their hands it proved great for saving whales; bad for crash-landing in the arctic wastelands. Meantime, as CIA Agent Hooks's psychois deepened and pursuit broadened, Rosie continued following her summons northward. Aboard the ice-breaker, Esmeralda, a quarrel with Jeff provoked a display of Rosie's powers and the attention of the other passengers... Constable Dixon and the Butcher Bruvvers...
